Radiesse^TM is a smooth cream substance made from calcium hydroxyapatite that is commonly used for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. This product is also used to increase lip volume and improve lip wrinkles. Radiesse^TM is FDA approved and is widely used as a structural filler to areas such as the cheeks, nasolabial folds, brows, and prejowl depressions. The aging process causes fat atrophy and loose skin. Radiesse^TM will "plump" these areas with fullness resulting in a more youthful appearance. Radiesse^TM stimulates collagen formation and can last up to 1-2 years depending on the area injected. The price is $1200 for one syringe.

Restylane^TM is made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the human body that provides fullness and volume to the skin. This FDA approved product is a clear gel commonly used to correct finer lines and folds. Restylane^TM can be used to lift corners; provide lip enhancement; and provide lip border definition-making lipstick application easier and more defined. Restylane^TM can last up to 4-6 months depending on the area injected. The price is $500 for one syringe. Juvederm^TM

Juvederm^TM is the most exciting injectable yet. Similar to Restylane^TM, Juvederm^TM is made from hyaluronic acid but is formulated to last twice as long. JuvedermTM is produced through HYLACROSS^TM technology creating a higher degree of cross linking to promote a longer lasting product with a smoother consistency gel. Juvederm^TM also provides fullness and volume to wrinkles, lines and folds. Like Restylane^TM, Juvederm^TM has many lip applications and is considered to leave a smoother and softer feeling. It is a very popular filler in Europe and Canada and recently was approved by the FDA for use in the United States for experienced injectors. Juvederm^TM can last up to 8-12 months, depending on the area injected. Juvederm Ultra^TM is $600 for one syringe and Juvederm Ultra Plus^TM is $650 for one syringe.
