Dr. Short typically uses the Variable Pulsed Light system for treatment of vascular areas, birthmarks, small vessels, age spots and rosacea.  Patients are particularly fond of this treatment for the small vessels around the nose and on the cheeks.  The Variable Pulsed Light System has little discomfort.  Patients may need anywhere from four to six treatment to the area, and cost is anywhere from $150.00 to $300.00 depending upon the size of the area treated.
